The Sand Dollar condos are open and airy, in the way only a Costa Rican home can be. Your windows and door open to tropical gardens and a pool (for your use of course!). The tropical gardens bring vibrant shades of green to view, and depending on the season, irresistible colorful flowers. Since you are only a two-minute walk from the beach, you might be able to hear the ocean from your condo, especially at high tide. If you head out during low-tide, you will have tons of sand to walk on, and many tide pools to view into. During high tide, Playa Tamarindo still has plenty of walking space; and opportunity for surf lessons!

After a day at the beach, your condo is like home, with a kitchen and living area downstairs, and sleeping arrangements upstairs (though some downstairs sofas pull-out). Customary to most Costa Rican homes, the Sand Dollar condos do not include an oven. A roomy stove top and all other appliances are yours to use during your visit.

Each Sand Dollar condo offers two upstairs bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two single beds or one queen bed. The charming Sand Dollar rooms are outfitted with everything you need to fall asleep right away, including reading lamps and curtains—not always a guarantee around here! Even with those curtains, that bright, warm Costa Rican sunshine might just wake you before any alarm. Shake the sleep with a cup of Costa Rican coffee made in your own kitchen- just how you like it. And then…back to the beach to do it all over again!
