The cab drivers in Tamarindo know the town well, and often speak a little English. The name of the restaurant, bar, grocery store or shop that you would like to get to is often enough information for your driver. To prevent any surprises, ask how much the cab ride will be before leaving for your destination- then jump in and put on your seatbelt!
If you eat out and decide to stay in for the night, your condo will be just as cozy as your own home.
