Fantastic news for Guanacaste locals and tourists alike: The new airport terminal is opening up at the Daniel Oduber Quirós Airport on November 17, 2011. As the closest airport to some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, many welcome the new renovations. The airport is located just outside Liberia, Costa Rica and is a short drive to various beaches and towns such as Playa Tamarindo and Playas del Coco.
