Playa Langosta has slowly been nurtured and built up in way that give it a tranquil, organized and luxurious small town feel all at the same time. 30 years ago the Diria was the first hotel established in Tamarindo and over those years they have become one of the largest and premier lodging facilities in the area. For the seasoned Costa Rican traveler you are most likely aware of the expansion the Tamarindo Diria has made over the years. This beach front resort stretches over 5 acres in land total and has locations expanding into Langosta. Recently completed in December of 2006 were the elegant Horizontes del Mar and the spectacular Villas Langosta. So as you can see it is hard to not notice the presence the Tamarindo Diria, Costa Rica Beach Resort, has throughout the Pacific coast.

Because Costa Rica reins as queen when it comes to the tropics and beautiful beaches, it should come as no surprise the popularity this country has with people. Society is fascinated with the mysterious history and beauty Costa Rica offers. No wonder it has forever been a hot spot for celebrities. Just this year Kim Kardashian & Reggie Bush were vacationing on the Pacific Coast and recently this past May ‘Hills’ stars Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephanie Pratt traveled to Costa Rica for filming. Also, found within these 51,000 sq. kilometers one can find the residences of Gisele Bündchen and Mel Gibson. When people think of common Costa Rican towns, Tamarindo, San José and Jacó often roll off the tongue. If the person knows travelers, or has researched a Costa Rica trip, destinations like Monte Verde, Manual Antonio and Arenal might be mentioned. But Playa Langosta? Playa Langosta doesn’t often find itself in that list. A Langosta Vacation Condo doesn’t always cross the mind as an ideal vacation destination, but perhaps it should.
