Súper recomendado, me impresionó lo bien equipada que estaba la casa, como pensaron en cada detalle sobretodo en la cocina, hasta pensaron en los pequeños de la casa, el lugar súper tranquilo no me agradó mucho dejar la microbús en que íbamos por fuera de la casa pero Daniel me indicó que era muy seguro y habían cámaras, y gracias a Dios no hubo ningún problema. La piscina muy grande y cómoda, la casa muy cerca de todo, y vuelvo a enfatizar tienes de todo, a mí y a mi familia nos gustó demasiado.

It’s a very beautiful place, very family friendly but it would be great for a group of friends also! The pool was very nice too! We loved our stay at Casa Amigos!

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious and well appointed condo. William and Kattia (property manager) were great hosts and responded quickly to any questions or issues that we had. The condo is a good distance from the busy downtown area so is quieter, and we really enjoyed the lively Moonlight Night Market (Thursdays) with music, food and local artisans! Despite the weather being a bit rainy we walked on the beach and watched the surfers. There were some good restaurants including Nari for pizza & pasta, and for great coffee there’s Derecho Sagrado.

As for the 4-story walk-up, we didn’t mind it at all - it’s nothing compared to New York City subway stairs! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.

Overall good place. A few things need a bit of TLC, but I would stay there again and would recommend. The location is perfect if you’re looking to go to both Tamarindo and Lagosta beaches by foot. It’s super quiet, which we loved!

We loved our stay at Casa Amigos! They let us check in early which was incredibly helpful. Upon arrival the home was pristine and we had everything we needed. I loved the added details of all the kids items (toddler camping chair to eat, plastic plates and bowls). While it’s possible to walk to town, it’s a bit far with the heat and Ubers were so easy, fast and reliable (and cheap!) so would suggest that or renting a golf cart ahead of time. They let my brother in law store bags at their office since his family had a late flight and, again, this was incredibly helpful. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment with lots of space. Very walkable to the restaurants and shops, but still very quiet and private. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. Amazing Indian restaurant right down the street. 20 min walk to the beach was the best part. 10/10 recommend!! Thank you!

We had a great stay at the apartment! The space is functional, has a great modern kitchen with all appliances you could hope for and a great balcony for eating outside. Justin was super helpful and very quick to respond when we needed to extend our stay at the place due to a cancelled flight. It was located in a good area, safe and gated for the car as well. Close to town either by foot or only a 3 min drive to everything. We would recommend this location for your stay!

A must stay if looking at booking in Tamarindo. William and his team communicated greatly throughout the week providing transfers, excursions etc. The villa was extremely impressive with a supermarket close by and the town only a couple of minutes away. Would not hesitate to book with them again.

This is a great place to rent, size, comfort, and location! The beds are comfortable, the AC is excellent to have, and the washer/dryer. The management company communicated often, but there were multiple emails from several people, so it could have been clearer who to speak to directly. Horizon helped us with the check-in (the unit was not ready at 6 pm) but offered an incredible recommendation to a local restaurant (Mariajuana with Oscar and his family). It was the best meal I had in Tamarindo!
For the unit, the size is lovely for two moms and two boys and could easily fit more with a sleeper sofa. The furniture was comfortable, pots, pans, etc. We felt safe, with a gated area, cars locked behind, and easy check-in with key code and leaving gate key on the counter when departing and exiting through the gate. The water pressure is low (not sure if this can be fixed), and the pool area is not the cleanest (the hot tub did not work at the time with jets), but it is a nice amenity.

The condo was in a great location and very clean and quiet. We had a few issues, no hot water for most of the stay. The management company was very responsive and sent someone out to fix it, but it continued to go out. Overall, we enjoyed the space.

Casa Amigos is a brand new home with every detail covered. From arrival we had great communication with our host with easy direction and entry instructions. The home was absolutely stunning and even better than the photos. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare awesome meals and the modern design and feel of the place was really cool. We loved the large covered poolside table for playing cards and having dinners in the shade while the kids swam. The backyard was a private oasis with a super clean pool and a great lounging area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and spa like with very comfortable beds and bedding. The guest house (casita) which was separate from the main house was perfect for the second family to have their own private space and kitchenette. Perfect location!

We knew we wanted to visit Tamarindo and there were lots of places to choose from, but ultimately choose this property because of its size and amenities. There were a couple similar properties on the street, but this one stood out to us because of the larger pool and guest house. The bathroom in the guest house was perfect for our group and made getting ready for nights out a breeze. We loved the modern look and all the aesthetic touches. The outdoor table with the fan was a great spot to hang out in the evenings. The kitchen was so nice and spacious and had everything we needed.
We had some questions during our stay and the hosts were always quick to respond and were polite and helpful. I loved that there was a gym on the corner and a store that we could walk to and grab snacks, produce, alcohol etc. Great spot. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the area.

We liked that it was a quiet neighbourhood just a few minutes drive to the beach. Great to have a grocery store right on the corner (1 min walk) with everything we needed - so convenient with two restaurants there too.
Can’t wait to return, we plan to make it an annual visit!
The guest book had tons of information about local spots and everything we needed to know about the property.
Loved the large open kitchen - very well outfitted. Gorgeous outdoor patio / dining area with a barbecue and even an outdoor fan. We LOVED the large private pool – the kids did too! Having full laundry on site was so helpful.
The guest house was great - separate private space with full kitchenette… So great for our son and his family with on-site pack ‘n play, and kid-friendly cutlery and dishes which was a nice touch.

This Villa is in a great location, we've stayed here before. This particular condo needs updating and additional kitchen, cooking supplies. There was 1 small skillet and 1 glass baking dish with no lid. We like to cook with the fresh ingredients we can get in Tamarindo. I had to borrow kitchen tools. The bed was not comfortable, it leaned towards the center. The outside area was very nice. The pool and landscaping is very beautiful and well cared for. We always feel safe here at this Villa. Kattia was absolutely amazing with helping us find the location we struggled a little finding the place to get the keys from but we are new to Costa Rica so don’t let that change your mind. Everything was absolutely perfect after we got the keys the condo was very close to amenities. We had a car and was worth the money cause the road is up hill. But with that hill comes the views. A Golf cart would suffice.
We recommend this location for Tamarindo stays as it was private and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

My wife and I had a 7 week enjoyable stay here. The place was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning and after the sun went down. The pool area was great for laying around. It was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the grocery store. We thought it was in a good location. The wind blows hard in Tamarindo so there is a lot of dust.

My wife and I had a 7 week enjoyable stay here. The place was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning and after the sun went down. The pool area was great for laying around. It was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the grocery store. We thought it was in a good location. The wind blows hard in Tamarindo so there is a lot of dust.

The property has a beautiful pool. Everything was very clean. The property had a security guard on duty the entire time and we felt safe during our stay. It's located 18 min walk from town or a 3-6 drive. There is also supermarket nearby.

The condo was very comfortable and very clean. Location was about a 15 minute walk to downtown area and beach but nice area. we had monkeys out our back windows the full stay. pool is not huge but will get you cooled down and there are some lounge chairs to relax on. Would definitely recommend the place.

The stay was good and the view from the house is to die for. The construction next door was a bit noisy. Plan to rent a golf cart if you are not willing to walk back and forth to town.

The location in Playa Langosta was great- it is about a mile walk to Tamarindo so it helps you burn those vacation calories... it was well worth it as the area is a little quieter than right in Tamarindo. We could have rented a golf cart as well, but enjoyed the walks and checking out stuff in between the condo and town.
The condo itself is beautiful- and views out EVERY window, this was an awesome surprise. The ocean views from the balconies were awesome, it is on the 6th floor. Also we saw howler monkeys in the trees from the balcony, as well as they loved the electric wire route right across from the condo, saw them almost every day making their way somewhere while we were walking. AC worked great. Washer/Dryer was great to have!

They had our driver (who we arranged at a great price through their office) bring the keys to our very late check in, they were in constant communication with anything we needed- it was very impressive and friendly service. The condo itself is very clean and well kept. Had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again, pictures were accurate, and had plenty of space for our family.

Overall this was a beautiful house in a wonderful location with great views. It was close enough to town that walking is possible, but the hill is a bit of a workout. We ended up renting a golf cart - which our property manager coordinated for us - but we would have been fine without one. The house was well equipped and included beach towels for our use. The laundry was not available there, but the property management paid for our laundry to be done at the laundromat that was just down the hill - we honestly loved this service over having to do it ourselves. There are DVDs to watch, local TV, and some board games, but you may want to bring a streaming device if you want more entertainment for indoors. The only thing we found frustrating was the incredibly loud construction next door (as of June 2021). They are building metal framed condos next door and they begin at 6am and work until 5-6pm, Monday thru Saturday. If you’re up early anyways and don’t have little kids it might not be a big deal for you, for us it wasn’t ideal, but we dealt with it because we loved the location and the house so much.
