Súper recomendado, me impresionó lo bien equipada que estaba la casa, como pensaron en cada detalle sobretodo en la cocina, hasta pensaron en los pequeños de la casa, el lugar súper tranquilo no me agradó mucho dejar la microbús en que íbamos por fuera de la casa pero Daniel me indicó que era muy seguro y habían cámaras, y gracias a Dios no hubo ningún problema. La piscina muy grande y cómoda, la casa muy cerca de todo, y vuelvo a enfatizar tienes de todo, a mí y a mi familia nos gustó demasiado.

This place exceeded our expectations. The location is great, you can walk to the beach, local restaurants and the condo is quiet. The place was super clean and we had a great time - highly recommend and super safe 🙂

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious and well appointed condo. William and Kattia (property manager) were great hosts and responded quickly to any questions or issues that we had. The condo is a good distance from the busy downtown area so is quieter, and we really enjoyed the lively Moonlight Night Market (Thursdays) with music, food and local artisans! Despite the weather being a bit rainy we walked on the beach and watched the surfers. There were some good restaurants including Nari for pizza & pasta, and for great coffee there’s Derecho Sagrado.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming apartment! It was cute, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The big kitchen was a great bonus - we were able to cook meals easily. The apartment is located on a quiet street, which made it perfect for resting after busy days.
As for the 4-story walk-up, we didn’t mind it at all - it’s nothing compared to New York City subway stairs! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.

Overall good place. A few things need a bit of TLC, but I would stay there again and would recommend. The location is perfect if you’re looking to go to both Tamarindo and Lagosta beaches by foot. It’s super quiet, which we loved!

We loved our stay at Casa Amigos! They let us check in early which was incredibly helpful. Upon arrival the home was pristine and we had everything we needed. I loved the added details of all the kids items (toddler camping chair to eat, plastic plates and bowls). While it’s possible to walk to town, it’s a bit far with the heat and Ubers were so easy, fast and reliable (and cheap!) so would suggest that or renting a golf cart ahead of time. They let my brother in law store bags at their office since his family had a late flight and, again, this was incredibly helpful. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment with lots of space. Very walkable to the restaurants and shops, but still very quiet and private. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. Amazing Indian restaurant right down the street. 20 min walk to the beach was the best part. 10/10 recommend!! Thank you!

It was good, the view and the peace you can breath from the dinning has no price, but a few things can be annoying is the water pressure in the kitchen faucet when try to wash dishes spread out the water and yourself finish wet, and the mattresses extremely soft and feels like holes, the beds looks so cool but you would never imagine that.
The location is fine, is like 5 minutes in car to the beach.

We had a great stay at the apartment! The space is functional, has a great modern kitchen with all appliances you could hope for and a great balcony for eating outside. Justin was super helpful and very quick to respond when we needed to extend our stay at the place due to a cancelled flight. It was located in a good area, safe and gated for the car as well. Close to town either by foot or only a 3 min drive to everything. We would recommend this location for your stay!

A must stay if looking at booking in Tamarindo. William and his team communicated greatly throughout the week providing transfers, excursions etc. The villa was extremely impressive with a supermarket close by and the town only a couple of minutes away. Would not hesitate to book with them again.

This is a great place to rent, size, comfort, and location! The beds are comfortable, the AC is excellent to have, and the washer/dryer. The management company communicated often, but there were multiple emails from several people, so it could have been clearer who to speak to directly. Horizon helped us with the check-in (the unit was not ready at 6 pm) but offered an incredible recommendation to a local restaurant (Mariajuana with Oscar and his family). It was the best meal I had in Tamarindo!
For the unit, the size is lovely for two moms and two boys and could easily fit more with a sleeper sofa. The furniture was comfortable, pots, pans, etc. We felt safe, with a gated area, cars locked behind, and easy check-in with key code and leaving gate key on the counter when departing and exiting through the gate. The water pressure is low (not sure if this can be fixed), and the pool area is not the cleanest (the hot tub did not work at the time with jets), but it is a nice amenity.

The condo was in a great location and very clean and quiet. We had a few issues, no hot water for most of the stay. The management company was very responsive and sent someone out to fix it, but it continued to go out. Overall, we enjoyed the space.

This was my family’s first trip to Tamarindo and we came across Casa Amigos while looking for a home that would comfortably accommodate our two families. We were not disappointed!!!! Casa Amigos is a brand new home with every detail covered. From arrival we had great communication with our host with easy direction and entry instructions. The home was absolutely stunning and even better than the photos. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare awesome meals and the modern design and feel of the place was really cool. We loved the large covered poolside table for playing cards and having dinners in the shade while the kids swam. The backyard was a private oasis with a super clean pool and a great lounging area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and spa like with very comfortable beds and bedding. The guest house (casita) which was separate from the main house was perfect for the second family to have their own private space and kitchenette. Perfect location!

William’s place in Tamarindo was exactly as described, clean and private; the pool was a great addition. We walked to the beach and downtown area every day with no problem. Would stay here again.

From the time we arrived, my friends and I enjoyed the ambience and the comforts Casa Amigos has to offer.
Fully equipped kitchen and cozy living space, welcoming bedrooms with plush beds and bedding, modern bathrooms, not to mention a great outdoor area complete with a refreshing pool and alfresco dining.
Restaurants and adventures were close by to complete a perfect week at Casa Amigos!

We had a great time at this house on our annual girls trip! We knew we wanted to visit Tamarindo and there were lots of places to choose from, but ultimately choose this property because of its size and amenities. There were a couple similar properties on the street, but this one stood out to us because of the larger pool and guest house. The bathroom in the guest house was perfect for our group and made getting ready for nights out a breeze. We loved the modern look and all the aesthetic touches. The outdoor table with the fan was a great spot to hang out in the evenings. The kitchen was so nice and spacious and had everything we needed.
We had some questions during our stay and the hosts were always quick to respond and were polite and helpful. I loved that there was a gym on the corner and a store that we could walk to and grab snacks, produce, alcohol etc. Great spot. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the area.

Casa Amigos was perfect! Hosts were great! The house was beautiful, spotless and had everything we needed – and then some! The owners really went the extra mile - so many special touches.
The guest book had tons of information about local spots and everything we needed to know about the property.
Loved the large open kitchen - very well outfitted. Gorgeous outdoor patio / dining area with a barbecue and even an outdoor fan. We LOVED the large private pool – the kids did too! Having full laundry on site was so helpful.
The guest house was great - separate private space with full kitchenette… So great for our son and his family with on-site pack ‘n play, and kid-friendly cutlery and dishes which was a nice touch.
We liked that it was a quiet neighbourhood just a few minutes drive to the beach. Great to have a grocery store right on the corner (1 min walk) with everything we needed - so convenient with two restaurants there too.
Can’t wait to return, we plan to make it an annual visit!

William and Josh were responsive and very helpful. Although we had a couple of bumps with the Tamarindo water agency shutting off the water unexpectedly, hosts were responsive with contacting them and following up. It’s a shame the water company is doing this to their local community because of their inability to keep up with expanding development. I hope they can resolve this because it isn’t fair to the community to have an unexpected shut off. The home is beautiful and peaceful and we would highly recommend staying here if you wish to visit the Tamarindo area.

Internet was fast and reliable. Mountain view was great. I saw Howler monkeys in the tree across the street, and bugies singing outside the bedroom window.
Take the 1st stairwell, or you'll have to come back down and climb again! lol

The grounds of building are excellent two pools, BBQ areas, etc. It's a well thought out building.

As many reviews said, William was awesome, definitely one of the greatest host in all Tamarindo. The place is just like the photos, the location it’s great, just 5 minutes walkable of tamarindo downtown, also, every Thursday it’s the mercadito night, the vibe it’s great and the place is just meters away from the condo, the kitchen it’s definitely something to remark, really enjoyable if you just want to spend a night cooking with your family and friends. The pool was nice, always clean. Definitely a place that I will come back.

What a gem! This unit was even better than I hoped it would be. Beyond the excellent location -- on a street with a coffee shop and bakery, around the corner from a fun Saturday market, a very short walk to the Tamarindo beach -- there were so many small amenities that we appreciated. For example: beach chairs, travel mugs, water jugs, a stocked kitchen, even pool noodles.
My friend and I felt quite safe. The AC worked well, and communication with Horizon was easy and fast. This feels like a rental unit that the owner has actually lived in, which means all the little comforts are there. Highly recommend a stay at the Sand Dollar!

Nice building in a great location with a nice pool area, quiet and just away from the city centre. Furnishings in the unit are a bit dated and blinds are see through so when the sun is up, so are you. Some great restaurants within a 2 minute walk as well.

Centrally located within walking distance to all amenities, restaurants, bars and beach. Pool was very inviting and relaxing. Some nightlife noise but not over the top. Would stay again.

The location was great - walking distance to pretty much everything! Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The place is nice and clean, too. Fence and security measures definitely were good - it felt very safe! Overall, supremely happy with the stay, would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay! The place is 10mins walk from the busyness of town but far enough away that it's peaceful. Glad we went to the office to get the key before checking in as we would have struggled to find it from the initial directions. Would happily stay again!

This Villa is in a great location, we've stayed here before. This particular condo needs updating and additional kitchen, cooking supplies. There was 1 small skillet and 1 glass baking dish with no lid. We like to cook with the fresh ingredients we can get in Tamarindo. I had to borrow kitchen tools. The bed was not comfortable, it leaned towards the center. The outside area was very nice. The pool and landscaping is very beautiful and well cared for. We always feel safe here at this Villa. We will be back, but we felt that this condo was a bit overpriced based on the others that are in this particular Villa.

This apartment was amazing! The photos honestly don’t do it justice. It looks nicer in person than in the photos. Right in the middle of town where you can easily walk anywhere you want to be, but it’s away from the main party spots so not loud at night. Was super happy staying here. The Wi-Fi worked super well, strong enough for video calls and remote work (about 50mbs or so I think). The one small annoyance was you had to go to the office which was 1km away to pick up and drop off the key. Otherwise the property was amazing and great value for the money I paid. Would absolutely stay here again when in Tamarindo

Clean, contemporary, convenient and secure. Plenty of space for 3 adults. Pool on small size but who needs a bigger one when there is an ocean next door! AC units perform well. Water pressure a little light downstairs but fine upstairs where the bedrooms / showers are. The walk to the beach can get a bit dusty. Key to the gate a bit sticky. Daniela was a great receptionist / manager: always there to help. Kitchen well equipped and easy place to prepare meals. Supermarket for grocery shopping just a short distance, maybe a 8 minute walk. I saw a pair of monkeys through the window above the shower in the 2nd bedroom area, the first morning of our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights at Condo Tiarra and it was absolutely perfect. We loved the views from balcony and the roof top. Sunrise was breathtaking from up top. Kattia was absolutely amazing with helping us find the location we struggled a little finding the place to get the keys from but we are new to Costa Rica so don’t let that change your mind. Everything was absolutely perfect after we got the keys the condo was very close to amenities. We had a car and was worth the money cause the road is up hill. But with that hill comes the views. A Golf cart would suffice.
We recommend this location for Tamarindo stays as it was private and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
5 stars all the way for Horizon Pacific this location.

We had a great time. The condo was easy to find, very clean and a mid-week clean was provided. The condo is very spacious, has a great patio, good kitchen appliances and pans. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to the beach, pubs, restaurants, banks and grocery store. We had a car and parking was free and we had no problem getting a space. We enjoyed the pool every afternoon after the beach- the pool bar staff were super, drinks were reasonable and you can order food to the pool for a quick snack which was a plus. The hosts are always available for any problems. The condo was a little more pricey then some similar options, but with the location and amenities, we were glad we stayed here and would definitely come back! (ps. Thanks for the fruit basket, coffee and loaf of bread upon arrival-it was nice to have:)

Such a great spot to stay for a couple. Close enough to everything but far enough away for quiet and peace.
The most response host I’ve ever had with Airbnb. The team at horizon who helps out was amazing. Kattia was my contact and she literally did EVERYTHING for me. Best service.

My wife and I had a 7 week enjoyable stay here. The place was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning and after the sun went down. The pool area was great for laying around. It was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the grocery store. We thought it was in a good location. The wind blows hard in Tamarindo so there is a lot of dust.
The place could use a couple of updates. But overall it was a great stay.

Second rental, same management company. Wonderful welcome touch with the fruit and note again. Really gives you a warm feeling.
I'd be hard pressed to find anything negative to say.
Housekeeping came 2x in the week we were there. We didn't need it but it was great to have the option.

William was a great host. very attentive and responded very quickly, always making sure we were ok. - I appreciate that.
Kattia, the property manager, was also very attentive and courteous.
I had her personal number, so if I needed anything she was always there. super nice of her to be honest.
I would suggest parking on the street, instead of the designated parking area, because it gets locked at night for safety reason, which is understandable.
When we got in, the AC was on...which was very very nice!! because it was very hot that day. Bedroom was spotless and clean. Thank you William.

We enjoyed our stay there, the view is very beautiful! The only thing is that if you want to enjoy the balcony the table is very rusted and only two chairs. But for the rest we loved staying there not noisy you can walk to Tamarindo or Langosta beach. Would stay there again.

Very clean and spacious apartment. Fruit basket was a nice touch. Kattia was very helpful with all the arrangements. Anything you need, like rental car, tours, massage, golf car rental, just let her know and she would arrange it for you.

Great place

Expect a relaxing experience in a hilltop home overlooking the ocean! The views are amazing, the porch is HUGE and a perfect place to sip coffee or cocktails and the neighborhood is a short walk to town. If you’re bringing kiddos or babies, a stroller is a bit of a challenge to push up and down the big hill so look into renting a golf cart for a fun and easy way to get around. Or, rent a car for the ultimate exploration freedom!

The management staff was awesome. They got us a shuttle and golf cart.
The sunset views were perfect and laying in the hammocks and infinity pool were great. The golf cart made the trip and the super market and bank being so close we’re perfect.
Everything we needed from the management company was handled immediately to the point of getting an outlet fixed within two hours. Truly great service.

The property has a beautiful pool. Everything was very clean. The property had a security guard on duty the entire time and we felt safe during our stay. It's located 18 min walk from town or a 3-6 drive. There is also supermarket nearby.

The condo was very comfortable and very clean. Location was about a 15 minute walk to downtown area and beach but nice area. we had monkeys out our back windows the full stay. pool is not huge but will get you cooled down and there are some lounge chairs to relax on. Would definitely recommend the place.

The stay was good and the view from the house is to die for. The construction next door was a bit noisy. Plan to rent a golf cart if you are not willing to walk back and forth to town.

Horrible check-in. Keys must be picked up at and returned to a completely different end of town … very inconvenient when you have all of your luggage.
Our host completely ignored our messages we sent about construction banging on our ceiling at 6am.

El lugar tiene una excelente ubicación, excelente comunicación. Cocina muy amplia e internet muy estable, trabajamos allí dos días sin ningún inconveniente.

I didn't personally meet William, But Daniela Calvo was incredible. She was very helpful with all the thing needed for a smooth trip. She helped set up my PCR test before leaving and my transportation back to the Liberia airport. 5 Star service across the board. Nothing but positive words to share about how fantastic Daniela was to work with.

Our stay here was great! The management company was pleasant. We were able to store our bags there between airbnb's.
Appliances should be checked more thoroughly though. While they had someone replace a part on the washer day 1, repair guys did not run a full cycle and therefore couldn't tell it was not fixed.
Oven and 1 bedroom fan weren't working but that was ok as stove top worked and all rooms had AC. We said maybe just address after our check out.
None of the issues were too much of an inconvenience and would definitely do another stay.

Exceeded our expectations!
The location in Playa Langosta was great- it is about a mile walk to Tamarindo so it helps you burn those vacation calories... it was well worth it as the area is a little quieter than right in Tamarindo. We could have rented a golf cart as well, but enjoyed the walks and checking out stuff in between the condo and town.
The condo itself is beautiful- and views out EVERY window, this was an awesome surprise. The ocean views from the balconies were awesome, it is on the 6th floor. Also we saw howler monkeys in the trees from the balcony, as well as they loved the electric wire route right across from the condo, saw them almost every day making their way somewhere while we were walking. AC worked great. Washer/Dryer was great to have!
The property management was excellent. They had our driver (who we arranged at a great price through their office) bring the keys to our very late check in, they were in constant communication with anything we needed- it was very impressive and friendly service. The condo itself is very clean and well kept. Had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again, pictures were accurate, and had plenty of space for our family.

Overall this was a beautiful house in a wonderful location with great views. It was close enough to town that walking is possible, but the hill is a bit of a workout. We ended up renting a golf cart - which our property manager coordinated for us - but we would have been fine without one. The house was well equipped and included beach towels for our use. The laundry was not available there, but the property management paid for our laundry to be done at the laundromat that was just down the hill - we honestly loved this service over having to do it ourselves. There are DVDs to watch, local TV, and some board games, but you may want to bring a streaming device if you want more entertainment for indoors. The only thing we found frustrating was the incredibly loud construction next door (as of June 2021). They are building metal framed condos next door and they begin at 6am and work until 5-6pm, Monday thru Saturday. If you’re up early anyways and don’t have little kids it might not be a big deal for you, for us it wasn’t ideal, but we dealt with it because we loved the location and the house so much.

Excelente hospedaje. En un inicio súper honesto que el lugar rentado inicialmente no contaba con internet y televisión con cable sin embargo nos ofreció otra opción un apartamento súper cómodo, bien ubicado y con todo lo necesario para disfrutar unos días de vacaciones.
